Description
The Rapala BX Skitter Frog brings Rapala's balsa-core BX construction to a walking topwater frog. The balsa body gives a lively, erratic skitter with a soft hollow-body feel on the strike, and the upturned double hook rides weedless through lily pads, grass and timber.
Designed to be fished through heavy cover where the big ones lurk and ambush their prey, the BX® Skitter Frog will skitter and jump with a fast, steady retrieve, creating a lot of splash and noise. Made with responsive balsa and surrounded by a strong copolymer shell, the BX Skitter Frog, with its extra-tough skin, will help you land toothy predators time and time again. Up-turned, heavy-duty premium VMC® double hook and thick rubber skirt allow for snag-free presentations.
Built for Indian backwaters and tank fishing: snakehead (murrel) in weedy ponds, barramundi/bhetki in mangrove edges, and bass-style predators in reservoirs. Walk it with short rod twitches, pause over cover, and hold on.
