Handmade para-rubber frog with a sharp weedless 1/0 hook. Each Magnus is cast from natural para rubber — soft enough to collapse on the bite so the hook point clears the body, tough enough to take murrel teeth and repeated casts into hyacinth and lily pads without tearing or going hard in the sun. The weedless 1/0 hook rides tight to the back, slides over weed clean and is sharp straight out of the packet. Hand-finished by Lures Factory, Thailand.

The Lures Factory Magnus Rubber Frog is a compact 4cm, 6g soft frog with a 1/0 weedless hook — small enough to fish tight weed pockets and lily edges where a full-size frog is too much lure. The soft rubber body collapses on the strike so the hook point clears, and the light 6g weight lets you work it slowly over thick surface cover without it sinking through. Made in Thailand.

Why it works

• Compact 4cm body for small weed pockets and tight cover
• Weedless 1/0 hook comes through surface vegetation cleanly
• Soft rubber collapses on the strike for better hook-ups
• Light 6g weight lets you fish it slowly over slop
